Our History

We have spent several years producing maple syrup and gourmet beef jerky and decided it was time to open a brick-and-mortar store! We picked the historic town of Metamora, Indiana for our little shop. The Sap Bucket is a general store, gift shoppe, candy store, and snack bar all under one roof. We carry a wide variety of ever-expanding merchandise. We hope you take the time to stop in and see us. While here, grab a drink and a bite to eat at our snack bar! We have your favorite penny candy by the pound as well! We look forward to seeing you in historic Metamora, Indiana!

Gourmet Beef Jerky

All of our beef jerky is made from USA beef brisket. It is inspected a total of 6 times before packaging to ensure you’re getting the best possible jerky. It is made in a state-of-the-art facility. Our jerky is now packaged in larger, resealable bags for those of you who don’t eat it all in one sitting! With 7 exciting flavors. there's something for everyone!

Local Honey

We carry only local honey in our shop! The health benefits of local honey are numerous. We are proud to offer only local honey from Bischoff Sunrise Farms.

  Nice little shop! They had a bunch of neat things and local honey/beeswax. Still getting set up, but will be a nice edition to the neighborhood.
